I oktober 1962 köps bilen in av Rolls-Royce handlaren H R Owen i London.

🇬🇧 We have been commissioned to sell a very nice car with a very interesting story, as it was owned for some time by a couple involved in a high-profile assassination attempt. The car was ordered new by a G A Mansill in Warwickshire England. Delivery was to take place in April 1960, but there were major problems during production due to everything from a lack of knowledgeable staff to new technology in the form of the new V8. The car did not come to its owner until December 1960. In October 1962, the car was bought by Rolls-Royce dealer H R Owen in London. On July 10, 1967, the car was sold to Mrs. Martha Von Bülow who was called ”Sunny”. Sunny’s husband, the Danish – born lawyer Claus von Bülow, was accused of trying to murder his wife using insulin injections. In a first trial, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison but was acquitted in a later trial. However, Sunny was in a coma for several years until her death. The whole story later became a feature film called ”Reversal of fortune”. Later, the car came to the United States. In 2016, the car came to Sweden and the owner had Rohdins in Trollhättan do a lot of repairs on it. The car is mechanically in a very good condition, however, in need of a repaint as it has partially crackled. The chrome is in good condition. Inside, the car has a nice leather seat in the front and fabric in the back. The ceiling is a bit stained. The wood panels are in need of renovation / painting.
